The makers offer them a dense program with many show greats: Last year, Mary Roos and Michael Holm have announced themselves among others. In addition to well-known artists, clubs and citizens of the city participate - for example in the big parade on Sunday.

The parade is led by the reigning asparagus queen and the asparagus pyramid made of several hundred kilos of asparagus. These are then auctioned off - for a good cause. If you prefer a quieter atmosphere, you can cruise the Nieplitz with the Kahnfährgenossenschaft - and let the ferryman tell you anecdotes from the history of the town.

And at the church square, farmers and craftsmen sell other products from the Mittelmark region at a regional market.
