Düsseldorf is not only the city of fashion, but also of gourmets: after all, there are seven restaurants with a total of eight Michelin stars in the state capital. Culinary enjoyment is also the theme of the annual Gourmet Festival at the end of August along the Königsallee.

Delicatessens, top restaurateurs, vintners, cooking schools and gourmet manufactories offer everything a gourmet's heart desires, from oysters to bubbly to cigars.

 

Whether vegan, vegetarian, meat or fish. Whether haute cuisine or solid specialities, sweet or savoury: the offer of the around 170 exhibitors is large. And so is the throng of visitors.

 

Along the KÖ-Graben from Graf-Adolf-Platz to Girardet-Brücke, guests sit comfortably outdoors and enjoy culinary delights. Music will be provided - on three days - by well-known DJs at the street food party. The food truck barn of vintage cars, some of which have been lovingly restored, will then become an open-air dance stage.
