4535 hectares of vineyards, around 40 winegrowers and an annual production of around 90,000 hectolitres: the Costers del Segre wine-growing region in the province of Lleida in Catalonia is one of the smaller and still rather young PDOs in Spain - and despite the adverse climatic conditions brings decent wines into the bottle.

Around 5000 visitors flock to the old provincial capital on the fourth weekend of October - and enjoy lively white or rich red wines with music and entertainment.
