Pembrokeshire Fish Week

Tenby in the county of Pembrokeshire

On three sides surrounded by the sea, with a coastline of 273 kilometres, Pembrokeshire in southwest Wales
has always been characterised by fishing and maritime trade.
Ancient dolmens and stone circles, small fishing villages and a wild coast also make the county a top tourist destination.

One of the best times to visit is the second half of June, when Pembrokshire Fish Week takes place in the county.
More than 200 events have been arranged by the organisers.

Cooking shows with celebrity chefs, fishing competitions or filleting workshops, raft racing, family boat trips or guided coastal walks.
Restaurants and cafés offer their local catch of the day - sometimes as tapas or seafood platter, as chowder fish soup or fish & chips or from the grill.
