Lusatian Fish Weeks
During the Lusatian Fish Weeks, visitors can sample regional fish dishes or take part in the harvesting of the "crop of the year".
They experience how the ponds are drained, the fish hauls begin early in the morning and traditional fishing festivals are celebrated.
On pond walks, guided excursions on foot or by bike, and in exhibitions, those interested can learn even more about Lusatian fish .
And in the region's inns, delicacies from the local ponds - carp "blue", baked or grilled, pikeperch or trout - are served.
