Solera, Vintage or Colheita: Madeira is known all over the world for its sweet, spritted dessert wine.
On the island in the middle of the Atlantic, which belongs to Portugal, other wines are also pressed. One can taste these and many other plants from all over Portugal during the wine fair Essencia do Vinho.

Around 3500 wine connoisseurs visit the product show every year, where everything revolves around wine.
In addition to the free tastings, visitors have the opportunity to talk to the winegrowers, take part in workshops or cooking events.
