Vin Jaune Wine Festival

The Percée du Vin Jaune wine festival is always held in the Jura department on the first weekend of February
. The famous yellow wine is celebrated: a strong, aromatic wine made from Savagnin grapes that is aged in oak barrels for six years and three months, losing 40 percent of its volume before it can be tasted.
