Baticate with cinnamon
Europe's largest cultivation area for avocados is in Andalusia. In the region of Málaga, 50,000 tonnes of the trendy tropical fruit are produced every year. Most of it is exported to France and Germany, the rest ends up in the country's supermarkets.
The healthy berry is rich in vitamins and valuable fatty acids and is mostly processed into salads or dips. In Iznate, in the Andalusian comarca Axarquía, it is also used as a sweet milkshake.
- Peel, pit and chop the avocado.
- Puree in a blender with the milk and sugar.
- Pour into a glass and chill in the fridge for at least one hour.
- Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.
