Arnica, gentian and edelweiss: thousands of flowers and herbs thrive in the Alps - many of them have a healing effect.
Visitors to the Feldturner Kräuterwochen in mid-May can learn to recognise, collect and cook healthy herbs from them.

Four villages - Feldthurns, Klausen, Barbian and Villanders - take part in the event and organise herbal walks and workshops.
The participants not only learn where which herbs grow, but also how to make tasty and healthy dishes out of them.

Teas, smoothies or pestos are made - and some restaurants in the area offer multi-course herb menus.
But also skin creams or peeling are made and expert guidance. If you don't want to collect herbs yourself, you can buy herbs and products at the farmers' market.
