Wild boar from the forests of Central Franconia. Carp, pike and tench from the ponds around Feuchtwangen. But also vegetables, camelina oil or emmer from the fields: the surroundings of the city on the Romantic Road is truly a land rich in species.
Visitors of the fish and game meat days can get an idea of it.

The event begins in the evening with a hunt by the local hunters' association and a duck and battue hunt the next morning. The festival will be officially opened on Friday - with lectures on hunting, fishing and regional cultivation.
With photo and art exhibitions as well as an ecumenical service.

The next day the children can help fishing in the moss pond, fresh fish and game are offered on the market square, as well as wines from the region and partner communities.
The fishing association organises a smoke show of local fish and some landlords create special festive menus.
