The festival in honour of the Orange takes place every year in the Plaza in the centre of Sóller and in the Sant Bartomeu cooperative.
The square is the stage for various musical events - from traditional folk music and blues to the latest hits played by DJs in the late evening.

At the tasting stands along the square, there are oranges, grapefruits and lemons - fresh from the tree or processed as jam, syrup or candied fruit.
Flavoured oils and vinegars will also be tasted - and visitors will be given the latest orange-themed recipes.

On a guided tour through the nearby orange plantations, interested visitors learn all kinds of things about the cultivation of citrus fruits, about the different varieties and their special features.
In workshops - for children and adults - people cook, bake, photograph or decorate - always with citrus fruits, of course.

The surrounding restaurants in Sóller, Port de Sóller and Fornalutx also participate in the fiesta and offer special discounted menus in which citrus fruits play a starring role.
During the fiesta, the more than 100-year-old Tren de Sóller runs between Palma and the mountain village. The discounted journey takes you through fragrant organ groves, picturesque valleys and stone bridges through the enchanting landscape.
