Pomaria Apple Feast

Apple plantations in Val di Non

5200 fruit farmers in the Val di Non harvest around 300,000 tonnes of apples a year - naturally with a protected designation of origin.
The consortium of apple growers and the organisers of the apple road thought that this was definitely worth a festival: in mid-October, at the best harvest time.

Visitors to Pomaria can pick apples directly from the tree, learn how to prepare apple strudels, get to know and taste the various apple varieties and the delicious apple dishes, take part in workshops and enjoy tastings.

In addition to apple-related topics, the festival offers many other activities closely linked to the region: Presentations of ancient crafts, music, wine and food stalls, wine tastings and local delicacies.
For children there are games, fairy tales and films.

Visitors can also enjoy the beauty of Val di Non and Val di Sole on long walks and guided hikes, and indulge in local gastronomic traditions and past tastes in the most prestigious restaurants and farms.
