Lemberger, Spätburgunder or the famous Trollinger: on 180 hectares the winegrowers of Fellbach am Kappelberg grow mostly strong red wines - some, like the Rienth family winery, are already in their 14th generation.

The winegrowers have always thanked the region for the good harvest with a harvest festival in October, which has developed into one of the largest folk festivals in the region - with wine and festival tents, stalls, rides and a wine fountain.

Highlights of the four-day event - which also includes winegrowers from the twin towns of Tain l'Hermitage, Tournon-sur-Rhône, Erba, Pécs and Meißen - include a procession, a flower competition with a large stage show and evening fireworks.
