Siddi, a community of 650 souls half an hour away from Sardinia's capital Caligari, is something like the island's culinary hotspot: here the highly decorated Sardinian chef Roberto Petza runs his restaurant and cooking academy.
Here every year the culinary festival Appetitosamente takes place.

The event is dedicated to four days of good Sardinian food, sustainable local production and food for the mind. In addition to the many culinary highlights, the event also focuses on art.

There will be cooking courses and sales and tasting stands for Sardinian wines, cheese and vegetables. Guided tastings - for example through the world of Sardinian bread or the variety of tomatoes.
But also lectures, discussions, music and theatre performances.

A great attraction of the festival is certainly the long table, which is set up in the centre of the village.
On Saturday evenings, registered visitors sit together at a long table and eat together under the motto "Put another chair to the table".
