Antimachia on Kos is famous for its honey. In his honour, the inhabitants celebrate a cheerful folk festival at the end of August - with music, dancing and, of course, with tasting and sales stalls where not only honey but also candied walnuts or loukoumdes, fine sprinkled biscuits dipped in syrup, can be tasted.
