Wine Feast Laurence Night
Since the 12th century, Laubengasse in Bolzano has been the centre of the mercantile life of the South Tyrolean capital. And the characteristic merchants' houses with arcades, corners and vaults are a popular sight in the city.
At the beginning of August, the 350-metre-long alley transforms into a wine arbour: 19 winegrowers from Bolzano invite you to taste their wines in the open air during the Lorenzinacht.
In addition to the autochthonous varieties, Lagrein and St. Magdalener, guests can also taste the gastronomic specialities of the region.
In addition to the culinary programme, there is also a cultural programme: 32 members of the South Tyrol Folk Dance Association perform the Bolzano Binder Dance in traditional costumes, a hoop and figure dance of coopers.
