Potato Festival of Valdegovia

Valdegovia is a municipality east of Vitoria-Gasteiz, consisting of 30 smaller villages
. The inhabitants make their living from agriculture: potatoes in particular are planted in the fields around Bóveda, Espejo or Valderejo.
The nutritious tuber is the protagonist of a harvest festival that takes place every October in a different town.

Around 20,000 kilos of potatoes are eaten or sold during the festival. There are also stalls with other agricultural or handicraft products from the neighbouring provinces.
Live music and a pelota competition are also on the programme.
