Throughout Koper, during the "Sweet Istria" event, chocolate and cakes, candied fruit and honey can be tasted and bought at tasting and sales stands.
There are also typical Istrian dessert creations such as yeast strudel, deep-fried cukerancici or sweet spaetzle with fruit.
And the winegrowers present their dessert wines.

In workshops, participants learn how to make flowers, blossoms and other artistic figures out of sugar, how to make classic desserts or what variety of flavours can be found in a glass of sweet malvazia.
A children's programme with puppet theatre and age-appropriate cooking classes rounds off the festival.
