At the edge of the South Tyrolean Wine Route, between Eppan and Tramin, lies the wine and fruit village of Kaltern. Once a year the inhabitants invite you to a big wine festival under the motto A whole village is tasted - and serve more than 150 fine wines from South Tyrol and from friendly Italian winegrowers. The event starts with a spectacular laser show with music.

Matching the wines, culinary specialities will be offered on the market square: Local cheese, bacon and "Apfelkiachln" (apple pie). Bruschette variations - matching the Italian wines of the guest producers.
But also delicacies from the South Tyrolean and Mediterranean cuisine.

There will also be a varied supporting programme. For example, a guided tour through the South Tyrolean Wine Museum. Or a guided vineyard hike. Tastings - under expert guidance - are also organised.
